Data Protection, New Technologies and Cybersecurity
As lawyers at Eguiguren Abogados, we advise companies and individuals on compliance with personal data protection regulations, including the modernization introduced by Law N° 21,719 and the establishment of Chile’s Data Protection Agency. We draft and implement privacy policies, data processing clauses, and data transfer protocols within and outside Chile, and support clients facing inspections and requirements from the authority.
This practice area also covers technology contracts, e-commerce, and the legal implications of artificial intelligence in business operations, as well as cybersecurity incident and breach management. Given its cross-cutting nature, we work in close coordination with our Labor, Compliance, and Family Business practice areas.
